OBJECT DESIGN INTERNSHIP (Brooklyn)

Snarkitecture is accepting applicants for a fulltime, three month internship position to begin immediately. The focus of this internship is to gain experience in the design, art, and development to learn about the production of furniture and products. The internship is open to designers, artists, fabricators and architects. The practice creates work in a range of scales and areas including permanent architectural projects, temporary public art installations, functional objects, design experiments, public art, object art, painting and performance. MUSEUM EDUCATION PROGRAM AT BROOK- LYN ART MUSEUM

We invite promising young professionals to join the 2015–16 Museum Education Internship Program. As an Intern Educator, you will gain in-depth fieldwork experience by designing, facilitating, and teaching programs that address the needs of adult, school, and youth and family audiences. Participate in hands-on work shops and reading discussions, and conduct qualtative research throughout the year to learn about museum education theory and practice. Ongoing professional development provided by our experienced education and curatorial staff ensures that Intern Educators leave the program with extensive experience teaching and programming for a variety of audiences, and with a completed professional teaching portfolio. PROFESSIONAL ART INDUSTRY TRAINING

(Sydney, NSW AUS) We take one outstanding intern every year for a period of at least six months training. In the normal course of events the intern would be allocated a project to work on under the supervision of a department head. The intern will receive practical experience to compliment their academic achievements and will be expected to attend our art education program. There are a number of broad areas in which to work including Aboriginal art, Australian art, education and publications, client liaison and information technology. It is expected that applicants will have at least a Masters degree in Art History & Theory or an equivalent qualification in another discipline.
