CONTEMPORARY ART PREPARATOR INTERN

Want to learn how exhibitions get realized? With several projects in prod at any given time, you will gain experience in the various stages of the process from initial to final presentation stage while working with the Curator and Director of Yale Union, a center for contemporary art in SE Portland, OR. While specific tasks vary per project, you will conduct research (e.g. sourcing and pricing, installation), assist in the workshop, and attend curatorial meetings, with the opportunity for active participation. AMBITIOUS CA CENTER SEEKS INTERN

Disjecta interns work within specific org. dept. to plan + implement programming, outreach, operations and other aspects of non-profit management. We expect each intern to identify and carry out an independent project, in addition to assist staff with general duties.
