Intergenerational Skill Exchange

I was invited to create a score for Lauren Moran’s project Scores for a Block Party, so I created a score titled “Intergenerational Skill Exchange”.

A little bit more about the project from Lauren: “How do you interact with your neighborhood? What are some ways people come together to exchange with their communities? In what ways can art serve as an agent of that relationship? How can ideas developed by conceptual artists like Yoko Ono and Sol Lewitt operate in a community-based setting?”. Lauren also served as the artist in residence for the City of Portland’s Department of Neighborhoods and enacted scores from the book in neighborhoods across the city.
