Le Petit Nickel (project website) was created as a reference point to continue the conversation around the roles and economics of artists and institutions in our contemporary life. The newspaper only contained classifieds of unpaid opportunities in the arts.

At the end of the 2015 school year, interns and unpaid volunteers distributed Le Petit Nickel to students, visitors and faculty at regional universities with BFA and MFA programs. The classifieds was also distributed via newspaper dispensers near participating organizations.
